Last week in pictures:
1. Iced mochas got me through the week.
2. Trying on one of my top picks for fall. This is as close as I'll get to wearing real fur. I feel guilty buying something that was killed just for the sake of fashion. For the sake of my stomach...now, that's a different story. (Kidding. I don't eat fox. Or any exotic skinned animal. But I have no problem wearing leather and faux fur. And bring on the steaks.)
3. This cheesecake forced me to walk off the extra calories, despite the heat and humidity. The dogs didn't complain.
4. I've been wanting to read Bossypants for months. Maybe I'll actually have time this week?

love the Fur on you! Where did you try it? Sadly I've inherited a GORGEOUS mink stole from my Grandma and would LOVE to wear it as it is beautiful and reminds me of her... but I just can't do real fur either!! Is it less bad if you didn't pay for it and it is an heirloom?

I am not judging anyone who buys/wears fur! :) I don't think it's bad; I just personally feel guilty for it since I love my own furry creatures so much and really don't need to drop $1200 on something I'll rarely wear in our climate!
There are some items (like that Elizabeth and James cape) that are just so pretty, that someone needs to own it! But I would totally wear something inherited and may even buy vintage.

That fur is amazing and when I saw it for myself, it was even better. I tried to find a website that would state it was faux fur but obviously, none was to be found :) Too bad it is not by Stella McCartney!
